What a cup final - the summer approaches

Firstly its pretty good in my new flat. Its been about 7 weeks now and I'm glad to have moved here. There's more space, more peace, more quiet and generally a more chilled out feel to it. Today I went to Ikea in Warrington to get some stuff for the flat, but regrettably I missed the FA Cup Final.

However, my flatmate Steve (a Liverpool fan), did see it and must be quite happy as Liverpool beat West-Ham 3-1 on penalties (3-3 aet). It was one of the best cup finals we've seen for a while, I'd say, probably since 1987!

Anyway, enough about football... Oh, I'm going to the World Cup by the way. Should be a great trip (or two), planning to see Angola v Portugal, England v Sweden, Holland v Argentina and Brazil v Japan. France 98 was fantastic, I'm hoping Germany 2006 will be equally as fun.
Ok, seriously, less football talk.. I'm going to Zambia! Yes, this is my first venture out to Africa and its also very exciting. Particularly because I'm going with my church to do mission work. This is the only page I can find on the web about it, but basically we're going to be building a classroom; running some conferences; and delivering and training in healthcare. Watch this space for updates!!
