Gun against his head.. trigger now he's dead

Today's news that the police have killed an innocent man, unconnected with the London bombings or a terrorist network, is most saddening and quite a shock. It is a collosal mistake to make, that will raise many questions about the information sources of the anti-terrorism units and their work in general.

No doubt, this will stir up a great deal of opposition to the government's methods of clamping down on terrorist threats. They have innocent blood on their hands. Having first heard about the shooting on Friday, I was satisfied to know that these guys know what they're doing. The act of offloading five bullets into a man they could have handcuffed and taken into questioning suggests they knew for sure that this man was an immediate danger. Sadly, their mistake has ended one life, but had they made the mistake of not shooting a genuine terrorist, perhaps many more would have died. I guess, this comes with the job. I doubt the real story will emerge in the near future as various parties cover their tracks.
